Group activity sessions for adults
Our group activity sessions for adults last for three hours. We offer a vast range of activities and for most groups there is usually time for at least two or three different activities.
The session is supervised at all times by qualified instructors and we provide all the necessary safety equipment. The sky really is the limit if you choose one of our 'high' activities but there is also plenty for those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground! Please see our list of activities available for sessions. Do contact us to discuss your idea so we can help you select the most appropriate activities for your group.
Subject to prior arrangement, groups are welcome to picnic in our fabulous grounds before or after their session. We also offer catering, including BBQs (minimum numbers apply) and overnight stays, either in our unique Shepherd's Huts or camping in the grounds. For those who want to really make a day of it we can offer both a morning and afternoon session, with guests either having the use of our bbq facilities, picnicing or depending on the group size we may be able to organise catering. The estate grounds are very secluded and there would be a very private feel to the atmosphere of your session.
Our adult activity sessions are available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. In the summer, during the long, light evenings, we can offer early evening sessions.
The minimum group size for our activity sessions is 12 guests and all sessions are for pre-booked groups only. Unfortunately we are not able to cater for individuals wishing to join a group. Our sessions are ideal for:
- Group of friends looking for a fun event
- Team building for a local sport team or club
- Alternative "stag or hen parties"
- Exhilarating birthday parties
- Office outings and parties
Rain or shine our sessions go ahead. Many of our activity areas have all-weather shelters and the tree canopy also affords some protection should the heavens open. The only time "when rain stops play" is if the instructors feel that the prevailing weather conditions are dangerous. This very rarely happens and in these cases we would offer alternative activities.
If you wish to go further a field we can organise group climbing and coasteering days on the Dorset coast and mountaineering/climbing trips from our Mountain Lodge in North Wales.
