We offer overnight "survival' in alternative types of shleter. Some groups may choose to stay in tipis, while others can elect to construct their own shelters. We have even had guests stay over in space-like pods, tucked away in the forest undergrowth. The conical canvas tipi, originating from the Indian plains affords a calm, peaceful atmoshperes that is close to nature but not so close as to get too wet if the heavens open! For those who are prepared to really rough it we can provide the materials and instruction on shelter or bivouac building. The brave overnight residents may find their structures are tested for real but fortunately they can always decamp to the dry and warmth of our Carpenter's Barn if necessary. We provide sleeping mats, sleeping bags and liners, torches and a survival box with cooking equipment and food for guests to prepare supper or breakfast.
