Our zip wire activity starts with a ladder climb to the high boughs of a huge ASh tree. From there you can launch yourself down the zip line, to whistle through the air at speed for over 70 metres.
A truly exhilarating activity and the closest thing to flying that most of us will ever have the chance to experience! This wild ride is a great activity in its own right, requiring a leap of faith to leave the security of the tree to zip across the walled garden area to the safety of the landing zone.
The zip wire activity is often incorporated into the heart of many of our bespoke outdoor team development or leadership development programmes or it may be used at the end of the day as a great 'energy-boosting' session. It is also an ideal activity for fun team builds and group activity sessions*, especially popular with our stags. All participants wear full safety harnesses and helmets and the activity is run by fully qualified instructors. This activity requires participants to climb a fairly tall ladder to reach the start of the zip. The activity itself, although not physically demanding, is not for the faint-hearted. * To run this activity for a group session a minimum group size may apply - please ask for details.

"When I finally summoned the courage to leave the security of the tree I had no regrets. Terrifying yes, exhilarating yes, would I do it again? Yes, yes, yes."
