Please use this kit list as a guide when visiting our venue for a day programme or session. Please note that visitors are normally required to complete a medical and consent form (adult) or /(U18) in advance.
- Trainers/walking shoes or boots - low heels with good grip on the sole
- Sports trousers (NOT DENIM)
- Base layer (eg. t-shirt in summer or thermal top in winter)
- Two sweat tops/fleeces
- Waterproof cagoule (and trousers if you have them)
- Gloves (winter)
- Wool hat (winter)
- Sunhat (summer)
- Personal medication i.e. antihistamines, inhaler, tablets etc
- High factor suncream/sunblock (summer)

- Old trainers
- Old shorts
- Old t shirt
- Spare towel
- Please tie long hair back
- Please do not wear any dangly jewellery
- Please cover any existing skin cuts with a waterproof dressing
- Many of the activities do have non-physical elements, however, please be aware that outdoor activities can be strenuous. We recommend that any clients who have a medical condition that could be aggravated by physical exertion, or seek professional medical advice before the day. Clients with medical conditions who do actively participate, do so at their own risk and must tell the instructor about their condition when they arrive at each activity.
- To minimize the risk of picking up insect bites in the outdoor environment we recommend you wear long trousers and stout footwear. This is good practice in countryside areas, particularly the New Forest, which has a high natural occurence of ticks.
