Hire our Venue for Wedding Receptions

Where more magical than our Carpenter's Barn, hidden amongst the trees of a private estate, to host your wedding reception? Fabulously private and secluded, you will enjoy exclusive use of the venue and we will do everything we can to make sure your very special day goes without a hitch and is memorable for all the right reasons!

The barn can accommodate around about 100 guests for a sit down meal but if you are planning something on a larger scale we can erect a marquee on the rear deck or adjacent lawn to extend the covered space and allow you to have an unlimited number of guests. After the wedding feast, the tables and chairs can be cleared to the sides to create a huge dance floor. You can hire a band or a dj to play in the barn - perfect for country dancing and we can even arrange bales of straw for seating!

We have a licenced bar, a large fire circle and drum bbqs. There are lawns for entertainment and a meandering trail through the ancient woodland. The newly weds can spend the night in our Honeymoon Shepherd's Hut and we also have accommodation on site for the guests.

We provide the blank canvas for you to design your perfect event - this allows you the freedom to have your own dream wedding.
