Whether you are with us for a day or a week, being looked after is a key element to our programmes
The hub of the New Forest Outdoor Centre is the Carpenters Barn it becomes your base for activities, your meeting and dining room and for some people their wedding venue. With a wood burner at its heart, the barn provides a warm welcome throughout the year.
With exclusive use of the Barn plus its marquee, deck, woodland bar, lawns and campfire circle the venue is yours to have the event you are looking for.

We are a licensed venue for ceremonies as well as holding blessings in the woods.
A space you can make your own for your special day, hired for the weekend to set
and decorate to your theme.
Staying overnight with us provides the opportunity to really unwind, soak up the tranquil atmosphere and hopefully spot a few stars. A night around the campfire or wood burner provides the perfect opportunity to reconnect away from screens and distractions.
There are 10 simple shepherd huts around the Carpenters Barn each sleeping up to 4 people. With extensive woodland available we can also offer a rustic campsite or simpler still, cook your diner on a fire and spend the night in a hammock or under a bivy tarp. Our approach is for outdoor comfort not military survival!
